I'm getting better! The cold is still there, very stubborn, but getting there. This amazing sop from Spoonery definitely helped earlier this week. If you're ever in Malmö and on the lookout for amazing soup - visit Spoonery!

In the middle of having the worst cold I've had in a while, it's time for me to start to pack up my life here in Malmö and move everything to my mum and then down into a suitcase. On Tuesday I fly back to London and then it's back to reality. It feels so sad to pack up everything from the apartment (biggest problem though is to find everything, haha) and to leave. So many memories from the last couple of months. Both happy and sad. Uuuh, trying really hard not to get emotional. I promise a longer post this weekend or on Monday with my final thoughts on the summer and I'll try to sort it all out.

Hope you'll have a great Thursday! x

Datenight with J at the vegetarian/vegan restaurant Kao's in Malmö.

Sunday brunch with my amazing friends (and J's enormous peanut butter bucket, haha)

Look from Saturday's birthday celebrations with the family // Pancake mountain from a cosy morning

Hi everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend, I've literally had the best time. So much to do with so many different people, so yesterday I woke up with the worst cold you could ever image. My entire head feels so heavy and my nose is so sore and runny. Uh, I hate it. I've managed to keep my health up for such a long time now and then it decides to hit on my last week at home, amazing. So yesterday was spent on the sofa the entire day watching The Good Wife and feeling sorry for myself.

Tonight though I have to be a bit more energetic since I'm going to my dad's house to have dinner, last time I see him before I go back to London. The time just flies right now and there are so many things that I want to do before I move back. With a cold hanging over me I have no idea how I will make the time though. Hate being sick.

Hope you've had a better start to the week and I'll check back in here when my energy gets back a bit more! x

I'm really in a good mood today, even though I haven't slept much the last few nights I still woke up incredibly happy and relaxed today. It might be the fact that I actually have stuff planned this weekend to keep me busy. Today, we are heading to my grandmother's 75th birthday celebration and after that I have a date night planned tonight with J. We're choosing between sushi or tapas.. decisions, decisions!

Tomorrow we're probably having a Sunday brunch with most of our friends, it's close to my last weekend at home since next weekend will probably be spent packing and preparing for the move back. But that's next weeks' problems! Today, I'm just enjoying myself and my good mood.

Hope that you're all having an amazing Saturday! x

'he liked her with long hair so she cut it short'

Is there any better feeling than a fresh haircut? I don't think so. I finally pulled myself together and booked an appointment to fix my hair and make it into a proper hairstyle again, haha. I'm blessed with very thick and fast-growing hair but it can be a pain in the ass when you have a short lob as I have. It pretty much looks like a helmet after a while and gets very heavy. Also, if you look a bit further back on my blog, you'll see that I've had extremely long hair for such a long while but decided to cut it all off last year. Now I can't even imagine growing it back out again, so in love with this haircut! So thanks to the best cousin in the world who works at Saxins in Malmö for making my hair look this good!

Other than getting my hair done, I don't have any particular plans for the day. It's raining like crazy out so no real weather worth heading out for. I'll probably just load up with comfy clothes and a good movie and spend my afternoon on the sofa. Great plan! x

What are you up to today?

I wish I looked this fresh this morning, hehe. At the moment I'm just sat on the sofa with a huge cup of coffee in my hand trying to gain some energy for the day. Even though I don't have any particular plans for the day I want to get something done. The loose plans for the day is probably to prepare som blogposts for the rest of the week and then workout later tonight with J.

The days are going by so fast and it's crazy to think that in just two weeks I'm back in my apartment in London again to do my final year in Marketing at Middlesex University. That two years ago, I packed my life into a suitcase and moved to a new country and now I'm so close to the finish line. After the rollercoaster of a summer that I've had I really hope that it will even out a bit and that things will move a bit more in my favour this season. Here's to a fresh start! x

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a fantastic Tuesday. I took a real sleep in today and just laid in bed, went up and spent almost 2 hours to do my makeup whilst eating my breakfast. I love my slow mornings. After that I dragged J with me out to snap some photos which you will see more of later on this week, these two were just last minute shots down by the canals before we headed back home. Now, I've just finished my very late lunch (pizza made on fiber tortillas, yum) and will soon be heading out again to go to the gym with J. A back session awaits today, I'm sure it will be a good one since I have loads of energy. :)

Speaking of working out, it's been a while since I updated you on my wellbeing. With the move coming up very quickly (two weeks left today) and me trying to get everything together with apartment contract, student finance and all of this I feel very stressed. Last autumn I made the mistake to stop working out and just solely focus on work without any fun or working out. Going to the gym has always been my escape zone and removing that routine was stupid of me. Which left me with no place to escape studying or work. But with everything going on right now I definitely feel like the gym is helping a lot, especially with my anxiety so I need to keep this routine up when I move back to London. First thing on my list is to find a suitable gym! Because it helps, so much.

Hello everyone. Here we are, a new week in and I've had the slowest start to a Monday ever.. hehe. I've literally been sat on the sofa with my breakfast for two hours now and just can't be bothered to do anything productive today. My plan was to get up early, head to the gym, do some grocery shopping and then do some work in preparation for university but my energy level is so low still, didn't really get very far. But, I seriously need to get my lazy ass off the sofa and at least go to the store. That I can do.

The rest of this week is very unplanned for me, I've kept it open if anything comes up that needs handling. I've applied for Student Finance (finally) and sent in everything that is needed to university so now it's just constant waiting. The weekend will be more upbeat with a birthday celebration for my grandmother on Saturday and either Friday or Sunday spent at home with my mum sorting out packing and plans for autumn.

Hope you've had a more productive start to the week than I have and kickstarted this awfully rainy Monday! x

Yesterday was spent walking around in a very rainy Malmö with this amazing person. We did some quick shopping, had lunch and then headed in to my favourite café here in the city - Kafe Sockerbit. This has been my favourite hangout since I was in high school and we always used to come here to drink tea and study. It has such a cosy atmosphere and perfect for a rainy day.

So I dragged J with me to sit down, drink some tea and play scrabble for a couple of hours, an amazing way to spend a grey Thursday.

Today it's Friday and we are just now having breakfast and will probably head to the gym in a couple of hours. I'm spending the night at my mum's and staying over until tomorrow so that's what's happening here. Hope you'll have a fantastic Friday! x

hello wednesday wanties

Started my Wednesday morning off with looking through some websites and got stuck on Na-kd, haha. So these things are currently laying in my wishlist folder on my computer just waiting for me to click 'order'. Aah, being a student really sucks sometimes.

Anyways, I got home from my mum's a few hours ago and have just been laying on the sofa since then. Way too slow to do anything else at the moment. The plan for the day is to do some administrative work now before lunch, book plane tickets home, check through module handbooks for university and such. Just really boring stuff to be honest. But it has to be done!

What are your plans this Wednesday? x
