IT'S THE WEEKEND! I'm so excited to finally be done with this week. Now I'm re-charging for tonight which will be dinner with my wifey and then spending the night with my closest friends and ending it with watching Oskar Linnros performing at Malmöfestivalen. That's what I call a perfect night!

The rest of the weekend will be pretty calm if the rational part of me gets to decide. But we'll see where the weekend takes me. What I definitely know is that I have to go to the gym both on Saturday and Sunday, the rest is pretty open. Which is actually pretty nice for once to not have the weekend completely packed with organized plans.

Kafé Kungsgatan

I've walked past this little café so many times these last few weeks and this Sunday, me and J finally made the effort, sat an alarm and got up to have brunch at Kafé Kungsgatan. Definitely worth getting up in the morning for. Their outside seating was also great for people-watching, hehe. ;) I highly recommend it if you're looking for a cute little café to have your weekend brunch at!

I'm trying to work my way through cafés and restaurants in the Malmö/Lund area just as I've done in London so if you have any more suggestions please let me know. :)

The days are just flying by and it's already Wednesday. The days are moving so fast forward at the moment that I'm having a hard time keeping up. But I thought I'd give you a bit of an insight on what has been happening so far this week and my plans for the upcoming days.

Monday: Work between 8.30-15.30. After work I headed straight home, made dinner and lunch boxes for the rest of the week and hung out with my bestie for a while. For those interested I make one dish of 6 portions to last me throughout the week at work. This week I made bean burgers and coleslaw, yum. After hanging out at home for a while I met up with a friend and headed to the gym, finished off and brought home freshly made donuts from the festival that's going on in Malmö at the moment. Gym and then donuts, I call it balance.

Tuesday: Work from 8.30-15.30. Headed straight home to just crash on the sofa for a while. Talked to a friend that lives in Stockholm for a while, had dinner and then crashed on the sofa again. I was completely exhausted yesterday. Some days right now are just tougher than others, I promise to make a post about it soon, if you are interested.

Wednesday: Work as usual today. Love routines. Then after work my mum is picking me up in Malmö and then we're heading home to have a family dinner together, haven't spent much time there for a while. Much easier to travel from Malmö to work than from my mum's house.

Thursday: My longest work day of the week. 8.30-18.00. After that I'm heading in to Malmöfestivalen for a while and hang out, have food I guess and then straight home to bed again. Will probably be kind of exhausted after the long working hours.

Friday: Work 8.30-15.00. Then I'm rushing home to have dinner in down with the bestie and just spending time together. Later at night we are meeting up with more friends to see Oskar Linnros closing the festival. Superexcited for this and have been waiting so long to see him again performing!

The rest of the weekend will probably be spent chilling and trying to relax as much as possible. Or at least that's the plan, but if I know myself right that's not gonna happen, haha.

What are your plans for the week?

Good morning! It's finally Friday once again and I couldn't be more excited for the weekend. This week has work has been intense to say the least and I can't wait to just relax and unwind for a couple of days.

This weekend is pretty much packed for me. Tonight we are going to a housewarming party/chill evening at a couple of friends' house. They've just moved in together so I'm so stoked to see their apartment for the first time. To add to that, it's the first day of Malmöfestivalen today so I wanted to head in for a while, we'll see how people feel about that, haha.

Tomorrow Saturday I'm going home to my mum's house and staying there for the weekend. Haven't seen her for two weeks now so it will be nice coming home. On Saturday night we're meeting dad and some family to have a barbecue and games night.

Sunday will be my day off basically, might go to the gym but that's pretty much all the effort I'm going to put in.. haha. I really need to start relaxing a bit more if I'm going to be able to handle a month without work before university starts again.

What are you doing this weekend?

Thursday morning and I'm sat on the train on my way to work. Can't believe that it's just two more weeks left until I finish work for the summer. The time has just flewn by and I'm not really caught up yet. At the same time as it's a relief to finally get some vacation, it's also a worrying thought not having anything in particular planned for an entire month. No real routine to follow.

The plan is to try to unwind a small much as possible and do my best to relax. It's been an intense summer to say the least. How do you guys feel? Are you ready for autumn yet or are you still clinging on to summer for little while longer? x

Something that I've wanted to do for a very long time. A tribute to my family, not only those by blood but those who have become family over the years, in particular my best friend Agnes who has the same tattoo. Because family is so much more than biological bonds, it's about who is there when you need them the most, no matter what.

And this is also my very first tattoo and I'm already so excited for getting more. I've been planning what I want for so long and finally the first one is in place. And I couldn't be happier with it!

I was supposed to show it to you last week but we wanted to show friends and family first personally, hehe. But I'm getting the will back to start blogging again. I feel a lot better, a lot happier and I'm so ready to get back to routines. 2,5 more weeks to work and then I'm free for a month. Couldn't be more excited about what's happening next! x

From an incredibly fun party with friends on Friday (so good that I didn't even take any photos, haha), to dinner with the family on Saturday night in Ystad where I had an amazing oumph burger. To finally yesterday which started of with a roadtrip with my mum and a prawn sandwhich by the sea and ended with beer and shuffleboard with friends. A packed and intense weekend, exactly how it should be!

I'm not going to lie though, today I'm pretty exhausted. At the moment I'm sitting on the train on my way to work where I will be until 15.30 today approximately. And after that me and my best friend are doing something very exciting, can't wait to show you tomorrow! Iiiih!

I hope that you've had a just as amazing weekend as I have and an equally great start to the week. And I'll check in tomorrow with the exciting surprise! 😁

This week has gone by so incredibly fast. Overall this entire summer has just gone by in a flash. I've got approximately four weeks left at work, crazy. Can't really believe it. After that I'm free in September before university starts again in October.

So how have you been? Are you enjoying your summer or working like a crazy person (like me)? But I'm not complaining, I have all evenings free as well as weekends. Like yesterday, me and my bestie had a little reunion after a week apart with wine and pizza. We talked for hours out on the balcony and just enjoyed the evening, the weather hasn't been too bad so it was not as cold as it has been other nights. I really value nights like these, just spending time with the people you love. I'm really trying to get better at appreciating the little things and not taking anything or anyone for granted. It's so important.

Hope you're missing my rambly posts, haha. I'll see if I can update more this weekend because we're actually doing quite a lot. We'll see! x

My birthday weekend summed up in some snapshots.

Hey everyone! Hope you've had a great few days since I last checked in. And what else? I TURNED 21! So now I'm grown up for real as many people have said, haha.

Last week was crazy for me with work and everything else going on around it with my birthday coming up as well. I had dinner with my best friend on Thursday (as you can see), planned to do something extraordinary on Friday which turned out to be a chilled night with pizza and a movie because of me being exhausted and the rain off then yesterday we had family dinner at my aunt's house.

I couldn't have asked for a better way to be celebrated combined with last week's party I'm now so done with celebrating my birthday, haha.

Thus, today we are heading to another birthday party (not my own) and then it's back to work as usual again tomorrow. My life goes by in high speed at the moment with packed days and lots of exciting things happening, and I love it!

Enjoy your Sunday and I'll check in soon again!

Aaaand that's about all the photos that aren't completely blurry that was taken this weekend when me and my best friend celebrated our 21st birthday. We had an absolute blast and both of us are so incredibly happy about how it turned out. We definitely have the best set of friends anyone could ask for. ❤

But after living in that bubble for the weekend it's now time to start another week. I'm currently on the train on my way to work. Still not completely recovered but I'm getting there, two cups of coffee and then I'm good to good!

I hope that you've all had a great weekend and a good start to the week! x
