Today we had brunch with the pun of puns. There is a lovely café situated at Agnesgatan in Malmö, called Kafé Agnez.... where me and my best friend Agnes had brunch this morning. See what we did there? Haha..

Her sister-in-law is also working at the café so it was the natural choice of course this amazing Sunday. Kafé Agnez is completely vegan all the way through and we had the most amazing food there and dessert of course. I'm very proud of myself to actually take the opportunity to drag out people to different locations around Malmö to explore. I just love it.

Also, I know that it has been a couple of days. Last week I finished work so now I'm officially taking vacation for a month before university starts again which I'm so excited about. I'm kind of scared that I'm going to be bored tomorrow already, haha. We'll see. We've also had a great weekend with celebrating me being done with work and my bestie's last free week before her university starts tomorrow.

The rest of my Sunday will be spent food prepping and working out even though I'm so incredibly sore still, but I'll manage! I hope that you've all had an amazing weekend and that you are excited for the upcoming week! I'll fight through this vacation to for real start blogging again. I'm so excited for my old routines! x

.... you are allowed to grab things from their wardrobe. ;) Sorry A! But I just love this jacket so much and would wear it everyday if I could. Haha, for those of you who live with your best friend can totally relate.

So today is Tuesday and I just got home from work. Our air-condition has stopped working again so we've been sitting in almost 30 degrees the entire day without any possibility to open a window and get fresh air. I work in a bank if I haven't told you that. So it's been an intense day and my brain is complete mush. So now I'm going to take some time, sit down and relax, and then go on with what I need to do tonight. Food shopping and cooking is on the list of main things to do - fun everyday stuff!

Btw, I'm trying to look for new recipes to do. Do any of you have any great recipes on the top of your head? Preferably vegetarian but fish/seafood works as well! I'm running out of ideas over here, haha. :)

What an intense weekend! On Friday, as I mentioned we went to hang out with a couple of friends and then going to a concert on Malmöfestivalen, Oskar Linnros to be exact. We had so much fun and I really enjoyed the night.

Do you then remember how I said that I needed a calm and relaxing weekend? Well, that lasted through Saturday even though I did go to the gym and ran a couple of errands. Yesterday though, Sunday. We started the day pretty calm with taking photos outside and just had a coffee. Then incredibly spontaneously, me and J decided to jump on the first train to Denmark and the theme park Bakken which is situated just outside of Copenhagen. I just loved the spontaneous adventure and I realized how seldom I do things like this, decide something over a couple of minutes and then just go for it. More of that please!

So today I have been pretty tired since we got home pretty late last night. But work has been going great and at the moment I'm making dinner to later head to a friend's house to catch up on Game of Thrones. I've been missing out on the last two episodes, it's about time.

How was your weekend? x

IT'S THE WEEKEND! I'm so excited to finally be done with this week. Now I'm re-charging for tonight which will be dinner with my wifey and then spending the night with my closest friends and ending it with watching Oskar Linnros performing at Malmöfestivalen. That's what I call a perfect night!

The rest of the weekend will be pretty calm if the rational part of me gets to decide. But we'll see where the weekend takes me. What I definitely know is that I have to go to the gym both on Saturday and Sunday, the rest is pretty open. Which is actually pretty nice for once to not have the weekend completely packed with organized plans.

Are you doing anything special this weekend? Fully planned or just a chilled weekend?

Kafé Kungsgatan

I've walked past this little café so many times these last few weeks and this Sunday, me and J finally made the effort, sat an alarm and got up to have brunch at Kafé Kungsgatan. Definitely worth getting up in the morning for. Their outside seating was also great for people-watching, hehe. ;) I highly recommend it if you're looking for a cute little café to have your weekend brunch at!

I'm trying to work my way through cafés and restaurants in the Malmö/Lund area just as I've done in London so if you have any more suggestions please let me know. :)

The days are just flying by and it's already Wednesday. The days are moving so fast forward at the moment that I'm having a hard time keeping up. But I thought I'd give you a bit of an insight on what has been happening so far this week and my plans for the upcoming days.

Monday: Work between 8.30-15.30. After work I headed straight home, made dinner and lunch boxes for the rest of the week and hung out with my bestie for a while. For those interested I make one dish of 6 portions to last me throughout the week at work. This week I made bean burgers and coleslaw, yum. After hanging out at home for a while I met up with a friend and headed to the gym, finished off and brought home freshly made donuts from the festival that's going on in Malmö at the moment. Gym and then donuts, I call it balance.

Tuesday: Work from 8.30-15.30. Headed straight home to just crash on the sofa for a while. Talked to a friend that lives in Stockholm for a while, had dinner and then crashed on the sofa again. I was completely exhausted yesterday. Some days right now are just tougher than others, I promise to make a post about it soon, if you are interested.

Wednesday: Work as usual today. Love routines. Then after work my mum is picking me up in Malmö and then we're heading home to have a family dinner together, haven't spent much time there for a while. Much easier to travel from Malmö to work than from my mum's house.

Thursday: My longest work day of the week. 8.30-18.00. After that I'm heading in to Malmöfestivalen for a while and hang out, have food I guess and then straight home to bed again. Will probably be kind of exhausted after the long working hours.

Friday: Work 8.30-15.00. Then I'm rushing home to have dinner in down with the bestie and just spending time together. Later at night we are meeting up with more friends to see Oskar Linnros closing the festival. Superexcited for this and have been waiting so long to see him again performing!

The rest of the weekend will probably be spent chilling and trying to relax as much as possible. Or at least that's the plan, but if I know myself right that's not gonna happen, haha.

What are your plans for the week?

Good morning! It's finally Friday once again and I couldn't be more excited for the weekend. This week has work has been intense to say the least and I can't wait to just relax and unwind for a couple of days.

This weekend is pretty much packed for me. Tonight we are going to a housewarming party/chill evening at a couple of friends' house. They've just moved in together so I'm so stoked to see their apartment for the first time. To add to that, it's the first day of Malmöfestivalen today so I wanted to head in for a while, we'll see how people feel about that, haha.

Tomorrow Saturday I'm going home to my mum's house and staying there for the weekend. Haven't seen her for two weeks now so it will be nice coming home. On Saturday night we're meeting dad and some family to have a barbecue and games night.

Sunday will be my day off basically, might go to the gym but that's pretty much all the effort I'm going to put in.. haha. I really need to start relaxing a bit more if I'm going to be able to handle a month without work before university starts again.

What are you doing this weekend?

Thursday morning and I'm sat on the train on my way to work. Can't believe that it's just two more weeks left until I finish work for the summer. The time has just flewn by and I'm not really caught up yet. At the same time as it's a relief to finally get some vacation, it's also a worrying thought not having anything in particular planned for an entire month. No real routine to follow.

The plan is to try to unwind a small much as possible and do my best to relax. It's been an intense summer to say the least. How do you guys feel? Are you ready for autumn yet or are you still clinging on to summer for little while longer? x

Something that I've wanted to do for a very long time. A tribute to my family, not only those by blood but those who have become family over the years, in particular my best friend Agnes who has the same tattoo. Because family is so much more than biological bonds, it's about who is there when you need them the most, no matter what.

And this is also my very first tattoo and I'm already so excited for getting more. I've been planning what I want for so long and finally the first one is in place. And I couldn't be happier with it!

I was supposed to show it to you last week but we wanted to show friends and family first personally, hehe. But I'm getting the will back to start blogging again. I feel a lot better, a lot happier and I'm so ready to get back to routines. 2,5 more weeks to work and then I'm free for a month. Couldn't be more excited about what's happening next! x
