One of my favourite places in London, St Paul's Cathedral. I absolutely love the area and just walking around there. It's so beautiful! A recommended visit for anyone going to London, it's gorgeous down there.

J left this morning so now I'm back to being on my own again which means back to studying and working as normal again. I've changed up my courses a bit for the year so I'm jumping on a new one next week, which means two weeks of catching up to do before I can proceed. A very fun way to spend my Saturday.. Not complaining, I've loaded up with snacks, tea and some good music. ;)

Good morning, hope you've had a great week so far! It's been busy days for me to say the least with J over and school keeping me busy. But we managed to snap some outfit photos for you yesterday so here's that! In love with my trenchcoat and oh how I've missed my knitted turtlenecks and boots, autumn is definitely my favourite season in terms of clothing.

Today it's Thursday and I have a long day waiting for me at the university from 10-15. So whilst I'm stuck with my nose in my books, J is out on some solo adventures around London. When I finish we're meeting up somewhere in central, having dinner and might go to the movies if we're not too tired. I really wanted to see the new Kingsman movie so hopefully that is still on when we decide. Have any of you seen it?

And tomorrow is my free day off school so we'll spend the entire day together before J leaves again on Saturday morning. Probably just doing some sightseeing and spending time together. This week has gone by so quickly, too quickly really. If we keep moving in this pace I'll be home for Christmas in no time, haha!

Hope you've enjoyed your week and I'll catch you again tomorrow! x

When you have people coming to visit, you are allowed to have brunch in the middle of the week. This morning I wanted to bring J to my favourite place of all time - Tintico. We had a slow morning, had breakfast together and just spent some time catching up. It is a very grey day in London so it was perfect to spend it at my favourite coffee shop.

Now, after a quick photo session outside we're sat in the apartment, me trying to prepare for today's seminar and J just chilling. The perks of studying where I do is that I don't have too many lessons a week which gives me loads of time to be at home to work if I want to or when I'm alone I spend it at the library. This week when J is here I tried to get most my work done last weekend to be able to have a week off, which I'm incredibly grateful for. It's all about planning.

Later today we're heading to Ikea to pick up some furniture that I wanted to get now that W has moved out with his stuff. So that's happening. I wanted to get some sort of sofa and a smaller coffee table, since I do spend a lot of time in my apartment I want it to be more cosy and homey. :)

What are you guys up to today? x

Totally in love with my new jeans from Asos. I love their petite-range and I can now finally find jeans that looks good on my tiny legs (haha). So if you're a shorty like me - check them out!

Today has been a study day and preparing for next week because tomorrow J is coming over to stay with me for the week. I'm so incredibly excited to see him again and to show him my home. What we're doing during the week you'll just have too see here since some of the things are a bit hush-hush and some is just undecided. But I'm sure it will be a great week whatever we do. I love having friends and family over from home, it gives a great boost and motivate me to perform better in general.

And this weekend has been great as well. On Friday me and some friends went down to Canary Wharf for an Oktoberfest and we had so much fun, haha! So all of yesterday was spent recovering at home and W picked up his things so now I'm all clear to redecorate and do things around the apartment, I love it!

Hope you've all had a great weekend and you'll hear from me as much as I can next week, if time allows it. x

Some snapshots from yesterday's hunt for cinnamon buns that I can definitely call a success. I also went a bit overboard with the excitement and got 4 buns.. I just couldn't resist. Ate 3 of them yesterday and saved a vanilla bun for today's study session. I have a lot of reading to do so I better get cracking on that as soon as possible, just wanted to check in here and give you a quick update.

I've had introductions today for the rest of the courses I'm taking this year, Marketing Strategy and E-marketing & Social Media. Very different courses but I'm excited for this! It feels so unreal that I'll be finished in just 25 learning weeks if everything goes my way, and then I'll stand there with my bachelor degree in Marketing.

Now, enough rambling, I need to get somewhere with studying today if I want to get my degree, haha! I'll catch you tomorrow again! x

So yesterday was October 3rd, and today is Wednesday.. so what better way to celebrate this memory than do a hot pink smoothie for breakfast? It's made of raspberries, beetroot, a touch of lemon and some Alpro quark - so good!

Today I'm at home again waiting for some deliveries, already gotten one and now waiting for the second one that should arrive any minute now. After that has arrived my plan is to head down to central London to go on the hunt for some cinnamon buns since today is National Cinnamon Bun Day in Sweden, I'm almost certain there won't be any to find but I thought I'd give it a shot. Other than that I need to keep the studying up and do some reading.

Hope you're enjoying your Wednesday and Cinnamon Bun Day! :)

Tuesday and moving on with my week, I've finally gotten stuff done that I was supposed to do yesterday so I can finally tick some more of my list for the week. I've paid my tuition fee, downloaded the books for my modules, worked out and so on. Feels great to be back on track after having kind of a rough day yesterday with nothing going my way. Life has definitely been playing a lot of tricks on me lately and I'm just trying to ride out the wave, so I'm happy that things have gone reasonably well today.. haha.

Really hoping for things to turn around from now on, even with autumn around the corner with darker and colder days, I'm not letting any depressing thoughts take over my head this season. The goal is to keep myself busy and not dig myself deep down in the same hole I was in last year. It will be tough but I've got so many new tools this year to use and amazing friends and family for support so I'm sure it will be fine. Do you guys also feel a lot more down during the darker months?

MONDAY: So here we go, first day back at university! We always start of quite soft with just introduction lectures in all modules we're doing for the year, today I had Creative Advertising and Promotion which is definitely one of the courses I look forward to the most this year, very hands-on and upbeat.

After class I went straight home to try to catch my delivery from ASOS, missed it and now I'm struggling with having the post office re-deliver it. What else went wrong? Oh, I can't access my online resources at the university portal at all so my planning day didn't go as planned. So now I'm considering to just have lunch and then head to the gym for a while, hoping for nothing else to go wrong today. Always so exciting to play with my luck!

TUESDAY: Tomorrow I'm having a library day and focusing on staying on top of things in my courses, reading up on some material and looking over the courses. After spending a couple of hours there I'm heading to the gym probably.

WEDNESDAY: Taking the day off studying to properly clean out the apartment of the rest of W's things. We'll see how long that takes but hopefully I can fit in a quick trip down to central London and just hang there for a while relaxing.

THURSDAY: W is coming to pick up his things in the morning, the final step in this whole process. After that I have classes from 10-14 and will probably spend the rest of the day in the library.

FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY: "Cleaning, planning and structuring up my life again"-days. I need to have a sit down and go through how I want to re-decorate the apartment and plan on what to get from Ikea and so on. J is coming next Monday to spend the week with me and my plan is to drag him to Ikea for help with carrying everything, hehe. So it will be a heavy and pretty dull weekend but next week will definitely make up for it!

@ Granger & Co.

Visited an old favourite for brunch today - Granger & Co. Those who have followed here for a while know that I loved this place when we went here earlier this year. And this time I thought to bring Annicka with me to introduce her to the amazing ricotta hotcakes. I'm still full just thinking about it, haha. So, we had a lovely brunch this morning, chatted about anything and everything and just had a great time. Really going to miss this girl when she flies back to Stockholm tomorrow. But we still have tonight to spend with each other so I'm not complaining!

Hope you've enjoyed your Saturday! x

I made it through the darkest part of the night,
and now I see the sunrise.
Now I feel glorious, glorious..

Today I feel great, haven't slept much but my mood is still on top. Woke up this morning to the fact that my student finance FINALLY has been approved in Sweden, very thankful for that since school starts on Monday, hehe. Also, got dragged out of the apartment by Christine for lunch and hanging at our university's Fresher's Fair. Who turns down free pizza and free beer? Not me. The remaining plans for my Thursday is to see if Annicka, who is on a flight from Stockholm to London in this writing moment, wants to do something tonight or else I'll just have a night in I guess. I thought I'd give you the full schedule for the weekend aswell:

So for Friday, tomorrow I'm meeting up with Annicka for some shopping in central London and just spending the day together. Later at night we're having dinner with some friends and heading out to some club. We'll see where the night takes us.

For Saturday we're starting of strong with brunch at Granger & Co in Clerkenwell to re-charge. Intense as it is when someone comes over just for the weekend, we're heading out again on Saturday and having dinner with some of her friends. I will definitely have a chill day after this, haha.

On Sunday I have the day all by myself, Annicka's flight leaves at 10.30 so no more time to meet before then unfortunately. It will be a crazy weekend but so much fun to have people over. My Sunday will probably be spent at home trying to rewind and relax before university starts on Monday, and then it all begins. :)

Tell me your plans for the weekend, if you have any! xx
